Tens of thousands of people invaded downtown Montreal for the inauguration of the Place du Quartier des Spectacles.
Montrealers gathered to attend the “Grand Baiser”, a show produced under the co-artistic direction of Danielle Roy and Luc PETIT.
Poetry was at the rendezvous of this beautiful summer night with a Pierrot Lunar seated on a piano literally propelled 20 feet into the air by the jets of water from the fountains, and a couple of lovers dancing gracefully in the sky of Montreal against the silhouette of the buildings of this neighborhood in full renewal.
