A show by Luc Petit that has won the hearts of over 35,000 spectators across Belgium.

Blending circus arts, soloists from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liège, video projections, and lighting design, Luc Petit took on a monumental piece of classical music: Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, a marvelous menagerie composed in 1886 to entertain a cellist friend during “Mardi Gras.” The vibrant fauna that Saint-Saëns brings to life — the swan, the elephant, the aquarium fish — has been augmented with a few new, flamboyant, and cinematic animals.

“A show for all that will leave a lasting impression on both the mind and the senses with its boldness, creativity, and whimsy.” – Luc Petit

Actor Bruno Coppens unleashed all his creativity to link the different adventures of this zoological fantasy, reflecting on the difficult condition of animals today and how to save them. This extraordinary show features more than thirty artists and musicians, as well as three RTL TVI presenters: Jean-Michel Zecca, Luc Gilson, and Sandrine Dans, who lent their voices to the characters of the Wolf, the Cat, and even Camille Saint-Saëns.

This show by Luc Petit has captured the hearts of over 35,000 spectators across Belgium!

“The audience is dazzled, and the ingenuity of the staging, with its effects of a giant slanted mirror, performs the miracles expected. So much so that one wonders how we will manage without it from now on…” – Laurence Bertel, La Libre
