After taking audiences into the worlds of Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan, Luc Petit and Les Nocturnales presented a unique performance in the park of the Château de Beloeil, paying tribute to the heroic universe of Jules Verne. This prolific 19th-century writer, a pioneer of science fiction, inspired the show with his exploits and fantastical machines, drawing on the great discoveries of his time and the epic tales of explorers.

Luc Petit and his troupe of over one hundred artists transported both young and old in the footsteps of the phlegmatic Phileas Fogg, the eccentric Passepartout, the courageous Indian princess, the fiery cowboys, for wild adventures across continents. The audience traveled full steam ahead through mishaps, acrobatics, and thrilling chases, discovering distant lands, from scorching deserts to deep jungles, from the dizzying heights of the Rocky Mountains to the vastness of the oceans.

The plot was filled with the breath of epic tales, fire and fear, with magical effects, traps, and twists of fate, all in Belle Époque costumes and accompanied by the most fantastical animals on the planet.

For one summer night, spectators defied the shooting stars in a thrilling race around the world: a fabulous journey where they shivered in the wind of adventure, leaving with their eyes full of dreams…
